The six-wheeler banana was quick at the top of the hill but had some developmental problems.
The Schurr family came back this year (they had skipped the 2006 Ultimate Speed Challenge due to a driver injury) with a new car and driver, once again with a very aerodynamic-looking carbon fiber car.
Schurr and Morgan Gleason or Racine, Wisconsin.
The Outlaw (foreground) still holds the Akron hill record at 26.934. It finished second this year. The Ultimate Last Timers entry, driven by Hillary Pearson, is behind (Hillary received first in 2005, second last year, and third this year.
Cory Schurr was recessed considerably into the body of his car.
The nose of Chris Hagan's carbon fiber creation is in the foreground. Behind it is Shawn Mitkus in a modified version of his Masters car, which received sixth place at at Akron last year (I raced against him in the final round).
