One of the first pictures taken at a race with the digital camera. The cars are all lined up at the 2005 Chicago Indoor race.
The entry-level division in Soap Box Derby is called "stock." Most kids who race stock cars are from 8-10. It is the most numerous division. The picture is of the "barn" where the Stock (and a few Super Stock) cars are kept at the World Championships.
My current car before its first test run, at a long, paved farm driveway.
Before Madison's 2006 race, all of the cars and drivers were lined up to take a group picture.
At the same race, this is in the semi-final round. My car is the orange one. The cars have just started and only moved a foot.
Just a moment afterwards on the same run.
Racing at Racine in the fall of 2006.
